York Music Hub and York Guildhall Orchestra are delighted to be working in partnership to provide up to 200 free tickets for school-aged children/young people and accompanying adults, to YGO's upcoming concert at York Barbican on 19th Mat 2024 at 15:00
The free ticket allocation per family works as follows:
1 child ticket + 1 accompanying adult ticket
2 or more child tickets + up to 2 accompanying adult tickets
This form needs to be completed by a parent/carer, and submitted by Sunday 28th April at the latest. In order to avoid disappointment, don't delay submitting the form, as tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Come along to support one of our 10 Primary schools in York, after a number of fantastic workshops and a performance from Graffiti Classics, the schools will be Popping up around York to perform.
The fantastic Choral Festival is back again this year. We would love as many schools as possible to take part. Whatch this page for future bookings and tickets.
We would like to invite you to join colleagues from both Primary and Secondary, including both state and independent sector across the city of York for a twilight network event on Thursday 4th July, venue TBC.
The event will be in two parts: 4pm - 5pm - Keynote Speaker Rachel Shapey, author and creator of ‘I Can Compose’ and 5pm - 6pm will be a Music Network session.
What a great way to network and chat to some of our wonderful approved tutors. The day will include work around A Common Approach, Music Mark, updated GCSE / A’ Level syllabus work and our guest speaker ‘Kristl Kirk’ who will be presenting us with takeaways to support children in music with dyslexia. What an exciting day! Look forward to seeing you all there.
